چکیده
Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is an imaging technique that reconstructs the conductivity distribution in interior of object using electrical measurements from electrodes are attached around boundary. The Complete Electrode Model (CEM) accurately incorporates electrode size, shape, and effective contact into forward problem for EIT. In this work, effect on solution addressed. particular, sensitivity electric potential with respect to a small-amplitude perturbation conductivity, some defective studied. Gâteaux derivative introduced as tool analysis differentiability proved. then expressed unique variational discretization performed Finite Elements type P1. Numerical simulations different 2D 3D configurations presented. This study illustrates impact presence perturbations parameters CEM EIT measurements. Finally, inverse numerically solved results confirm conclusions numerical analysis.

متن کاملComplete Electrode Model of Electrical Impedance Tomography: Approximation Properties and Characterization of Inclusions
In electrical impedance tomography one tries to recover the spatial admittance distribution inside a body from boundary measurements. In theoretical considerations it is usually assumed that the boundary data consists of the Neumann-to-Dirichlet map; when conducting realworld measurements, the obtainable data is a linear finite-dimensional operator mapping electrode currents onto electrode pote...

Abstract: EIT can image the distribution of ventilated lung tissue, and is thus a promising technology to help monitor patient breathing to help selection of mechanical ventilation parameters. Two key di culties in EIT instrumentation make such monitoring di cult: 1) EIT data quality depends on good electrode contact and is sensitive to changes in contact quality, and 2) EIT electrodes are di c...

Introduction: Electrical impedance tomography (EIT) is a non-invasive technique utilized in various medical applications, including brain imaging and other neurological diseases. Recognizing the physiological and anatomical characteristics of organs based on their electrical properties is one of the main applications of EIT, as each variety of tissue structure has its own electrical characteris...
متن کاملElectrical impedance tomography with compensation for electrode positioning variations.
Ideally electrical impedance tomography (EIT) should not be oversensitive to electrode positions, but this conflicts with efforts to produce high-resolution images. Two procedures are presented that balance reducing the sensitivity to electrode position errors with generating practicable EIT images. The first provides a criterion based on electrode sensitivity for regularizing the reconstructio...
